Driving Directions

 Highway 45 Alt. (North or South)


  1. Take Hwy 82 West to Starkville/MSU
  2. Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit (follow MSU signs)
  3. Go past the MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
  4. Take the Collegeview Street exit
  5. Turn right on ton Collegeview Street
  6. Proceed approx .2 miles and turn left on to Coliseum Blvd
  7. Take your first left and proceed into the Palmeiro Center parking lot
  8. Staff will be on hand to direct you to the shuttles
  9. Registration will be held inside the Davis Wade Stadium

 Interstate 55 (North or South)


  1. Take Hwy 82 East exit at Winona (there will be a sign directing you to MSU)
  2. Take Hwy 82 East into Starkville
  3. Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
  4. Go past the MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
  5. Take the Collegeview Street exit
  6. Turn right on ton Collegeview Street
  7. Proceed approx .2 miles and turn left on to Coliseum Blvd

  1. Take Hwy 25 North past first Hwy 12 West exit
  2. Continue on Hwy 25 North and take Hwy 82 East/25 North exit to Columbus/West Point
  3. Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
  4. Go past the MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
  5. Take the Collegeview Street exit
  6. Turn right on ton Collegeview Street

What to Bring

Program Highlights

Check-in for A&S competition will run from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. in the Davis Wade Stadium. The awards ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Art Portfolio Competition
Portfolios to be entered in the Department of Art Scholarship Competition must be delivered to Stafford Hall Room 200 between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.
General Assembly
Welcome to Mississippi State University! Enjoy a university welcome and an overview of the competition schedule.
Teacher Reception
Teachers & Counselors will enjoy a breakfast and presentation by representatives from the College of Arts & Sciences.
Foreign Language Testing
Students can earn up to 6 MSU college credits in French, Spanish, Latin, & German.
Physics Competition
The Department of Physics will be offering an AP test and a standard test. Each will be 1.5 hours in duration.
History Competition
The history test will be 1.5 hours in duration.
Chemistry Competition
The chemistry test will be 1 hour in duration.
Mathematics Competition
The mathematics test will be 1 hour in duration.
Lunch - On Your Own
Enjoy lunch within the city of Starkville or on the campus of Mississippi State University.
Dessert Reception
Enjoy homemade MSU ice cream, compliments of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Awards Program
The College of Arts and Sciences will make a series of presentations as well as present scholarship awards to winners.
