Fall Showcase
MSU's Fall Showcase is an invitation only event designed to give students a closer look at the university's academic programs and student life.
Enter the NetID that was sent with your invitation:
Driving Directions
Highway 45 Alt. (North or South)
- Take Hwy 82 West to Starkville/MSU
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit (follow MSU signs)
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at the first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive
- Follow 'Fall Showcase' signs and turn left into 'Fall Showcase' parking area
- Staff will be on hand to direct you to the Sanderson Center for check-in.
Interstate 55 (North or South)
- Take Hwy 82 East exit at Winona (there will be a sign directing you to MSU)
- Take Hwy 82 East into Starkville
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive
- Follow 'Fall Showcase' signs and turn left into 'Fall Showcase' parking area
- Staff will be on hand to direct you to the Sanderson Center for check-in.
Highway 25 North
- Take Hwy 25 North past first Hwy 12 West exit
- Continue on Hwy 25 North and take Hwy 82 East/25 North exit to Columbus/West Point
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive
- Follow 'Fall Showcase' signs and turn left into 'Fall Showcase' parking area
- Staff will be on hand to direct you to the Sanderson Center for check-in.
What to Bring
- Casual clothes
- Comfortable shoes (You'll be doing a lot of walking!)
- Spending money (Barnes & Noble has great MSU gear!)
- Rain wear (just in case!)
- Sweater or jacket (some meeting rooms can be a little chilly)
- Your BULLDOG SPIRIT!
Program Highlights
Check-in for Fall Showcase will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Joe Frank Sanderson Center. The event will conclude by 4:00 p.m.
- Organization Fair
- A number of MSU's most prominent student organizations will be on hand to share information regarding academic, honorary, Greek, religious, and service opportunities on campus.
- General Assembly
- Enjoy an official university welcome and general program announcements! Also, hear from a host of university faculty, administrators, and students regarding academic life and the unique opportunities for students on the Mississippi State University campus.
- Real Talk
- Talk with current MSU students to get all of your questions answered about what it's really like to be a bulldog.
- Academic visits
- Talk with faculty about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU.
- Student Affairs Panel
- Hear from representatives from the Division of Student Affairs. Get your questions answered regarding financial aid, housing, admissions & scholarships.
- Lunch
- Compliments of the Office of Admissions and Scholarships
- Campus/Housing Tours
- Let our staff take you on a riding tour of the beautiful Mississippi State campus with stops at our university's residence halls. Here you will meet with our Housing and Residence Life staff members.
