Driving/Parking Directions
Highway 45 Alt. (North or South)
- Take Hwy 82 West to Starkville/MSU
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit (follow MSU signs)
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at the first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive
- Registration will be held inside the Joe Frank Sanderson Center, east of the parking area.
Interstate 55 (North or South)
- Take Hwy 82 East exit at Winona (there will be a sign directing you to MSU)
- Take Hwy 82 East into Starkville
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive
- Registration will be held inside the Joe Frank Sanderson Center, east of the parking area.
Highway 25 North
- Take Hwy 25 North past first Hwy 12 West exit
- Continue on Hwy 25 North and take Hwy 82 East/25 North exit to Columbus/West Point
- Take Hwy 12 West/Starkville Exit
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive
- Proceed 1/2 mile on Lakeview Drive

From Birmingham, AL
- From Birmingham take I-20 W/I-59 S towards Tuscaloosa
- Take Hwy 82 West to Columbus
- Follow Hwy 82 West for several miles to Starkville
- Take Hwy 12 West
- Take MSU/Hwy 182 Exit
- Turn left onto Hwy 182 East (follow MSU signs)
- Turn right into MSU North Entrance at first traffic light
- Proceed 100 meters and turn right onto Lakeview Drive

Program Highlights
Check-in for Preview Day will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Joe Frank Sanderson Center. The event will conclude by 3:00 p.m.- Campus Tours
- Let our staff take you on a riding tour of the beautiful Mississippi State campus.
- Organization Fair
- A number of MSU's most prominent student organizations will be on hand to share information regarding academic, honorary, Greek, religious, and service opportunities on campus.
- Lunch
- Enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat buffet in the historic Marketplace at Perry.
- Q & A
- Participate in a Q & A session with representatives from the Office of Admissions and Scholarships and the Department of Housing and Residence Life, and Financial Aid.
- Academic visits
- Talk with faculty about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU.
- MSU Ice Cream
- If you've never had it, you're in for a treat. Take time to enjoy delicious homemade MSU ice cream.
- Housing Tours
- Come take a tour of the university's residence halls with Housing and Residence Life staff members.
