Kacie Scott

Hey, future Bulldogs! My name is Kacie Scott, and I'm from Booneville, MS. As a Fashion major and member of Fashion Board, I spent the majority of my time learning and designing, and even modeling clothes! Moore Hall was my sewing sanctuary where I had many late nights and many wonderully-made memories and friendships. Choosing fashion as my degree of study was competely unconventional, but it was so rewarding, and it taught me so much about myself. My biggest piece of advice for anyone wanting to choose a unique major is to just do it! Let me know if you have any questions about Admissions!

The highlight of my experience at MSU:

The highlight of my time at MSU was when I got the opportunity to represent Mississippi State and the junior class as homecoming maid! Nothing says school spirit like standing on Scott Field hearing the band play the alma mater!

Between classes I would...

Spend time with my friends at the Delta Gamma house!

Favorite class project at MSU?

My favorite class project was part of my Apparel Design II course where we drew, patterned, and sewed our very own one-of-a-kind garment!

I loved living in a residence hall because...

It was so convenient being on campus! It gave me an opportunity to meet other freshman and make friendships.

When you visit Starkville, be sure and...

Get to Starkville early to grab yummy biscuits from The Biscuit Shop (I recommend the cranberry orange or blueberry biscuit), and visit Aspen Bay for the best smelling (and locally owned/made) candles!

Something about you that surprises people:

I practiced ballet and jazz for 14 years. The coolest performance I danced in was the 4th of July parade in Washington, D.C.!
