Background Image Alternative Text: In honor of National Poetry Month, the main staircase in Mitchell Memorial Library now includes a poem from Mississippi Poet Laureate Catherine Pierce, an English professor at MSU. Pierce will be recognized at a special conversation and poetry reading event Monday [April 11] at 3 p.m. in Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium.
