Hey, future Bulldogs! I’m Tabora Cook from the Mississippi Delta, but I’ve spent most of my years in Ridgeland, MS. My favorite place on campus is the Colvard Student Union. Between classes, I would grab lunch here and eat on the balcony, while watching the Drill Field buzz with life! The Union is always lively with students whether grabbing a quick coffee at Starbucks, going to a student organization meeting, or unwinding in one of the many quiet, study spaces throughout the building. Make sure you check out the Union whenever you come visit campus!

What are your 3 favorite things about MSU?

The people, the cultural experiences, and the sporting events!

How would you describe the atmosphere at MSU?

The atmosphere on campus is definitely inviting. MSU immediately made me feel like I was part of a small, close-knit family where I'm more than just another student.

Most memorable class at MSU:

Interviewing taught by Dr. Hank Flick. He teaches you how to be successful in future job interviews, but more importantly, he teaches you life lessons - all while being very entertaining!

Favorite student organization & why:

I enjoyed being an MSU Roadrunner, because it helped grow the love I have for the university and cultivate my Bulldog pride.

When you visit Starkville, be sure and...

Eat as many times as humanly possible! The food options in Starkville are endless.

Something about you that surprises people:

I was once a nationally ranked powerlifter.
