Overview

Preview Days are designed to highlight all aspects of student life on campus from academic possibilities and residence halls to student organizations and facilities. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and our famous homemade ice cream. Pre-registration is required, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Preview Days are not designed for schools to bring a group of students with the exception of 2024 Transfer Preview Day. If your high school is interested in visiting MSU as a group, please contact our Campus Visit office at (662) 325-0539.

Highlights

Academic Visits

Talk with faculty about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU.

Lunch

Enjoy several different eateries on campus including all-you-care-to-eat buffet in the historic Marketplace at Perry.

MSU Ice Cream

If you've never had it, you're in for a treat. Take time to enjoy delicious homemade MSU ice cream.

Organization Fair

A number of MSU's most prominent student organizations will be on hand to share information regarding academic, honorary, Greek, religious, and service opportunities on campus.

Special Interest Sessions

Choose from a variety of topics such as Financial planning, Student Life, Out-of-State Information. These interactive sessions are meant to give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more in-depth information about these topics.
