"MSU has an atmosphere that is simply incomparable. Being a first-generation college student, I didn't know what to expect when looking at various potential colleges. That being said, the second I stepped onto campus at MSU I could feel just how welcoming and supportive this community was. I knew that I would be supported as an individual at MSU, but also as a future educator. MSU emphasis preparing their students for their professional careers and helping them reach their goals. With this in mind, I was allowed to get hands-on experience in the classroom setting beginning freshman year."
