Oncampus Recruiting Events
The Office of Admissions and Scholarships offers many recruiting events throughout the year for prospective students and their families. These events are designed to give guests a general overview of MSU as a whole. We invite you to join us for one of the following events to enjoy Mississippi State University firsthand. Event dates are published as they become available.
SPRING PREVIEW DAY
This event is for high school juniors who want to see what a day in the life of an MSU student is really like. The Office of Admissions & Scholarships invites these students and their parents to participate in a wide array of activities. Students will meet with academic advisers, check out our residence halls, tour the campus, and see the Sanderson Center. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and our famous MSU ice cream. Space is limited.

SCHOLARS RECOGNITION DAY
Regional scholars and their parents are invited to spend a full day at Mississippi State University. Students will meet with academic officials, tour campus and the Sanderson Center, and check out our residence halls. Scholars will spend time with honors college representatives and see what the Shackouls Honors College has to offer. This invitation only event is for high school seniors with a 25 or better ACT. Invitations will be mailed in August 2011. Space is limited.

FALL PREVIEW DAY
Students and parents are invited to join the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for a full day to experience all that MSU has to offer. Students will meet with academic advisers, check out the new residence halls, tour the campus, and see the Sanderson Center. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt, lunch, and our famous MSU ice cream. There are two separate dates for this pre-registration-only event. Space is limited.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE RECOGNITION DAY
Community College students, their parents, faculty & staff are invited to spend a day at Mississippi State University. This one day event will allow guests to meet with academic officials, tour campus, learn how to get involved, and talk with representatives from the Division of Student Affairs. Academic Officials will learn about MSU's articulation system as well as new admissions requirements for their students. Online registration will be available one month prior to the event date.
