Statistics

The Statistics major provides students with a rigorous foundation in probability, mathematical statistics, and applied data analysis. Housed in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the program combines theoretical coursework with hands-on training in statistical computing and real-world problem solving. Students develop the skills to design studies, model uncertainty, and draw meaningful conclusions from data — abilities in high demand across virtually every industry.
