The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences offers 15 majors and 43 concentrations. These offerings encompass a wide variety of programs, including Agribusiness, Biochemistry, Food Science, Floral Management, Fashion Design, and Landscape Architecture, just to name a few.
The College of Architecture, Art, and Design
The College of Architecture, Art, and Design includes the School of Architecture, Department of Art, Interior Design, and Building Construction Science programs. The School of Architecture offers the only curriculum in the state of Mississippi leading to a professional degree in architecture, and the Building Construction Science degree program is one of just two studio-based construction programs in the nation!
The College of Arts and Sciences
The College of Arts & Sciences, the liberal arts branch of Mississippi State University is the largest college at MSU with over 5,200 students. The College offers curricula in mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and fine arts. The College of Arts & Sciences produces a diverse, talented group of leaders and innovators and prepares students for medical school, law school, and other professional programs!
The College of Business
The College of Business offers majors in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management, as well as numerous concentrations, specialized programs, and minors, such as International Business, PGA Golf Management, Insurance, and Real Estate. MSU’s College of Business is the oldest college of business in the state and one of the oldest in the South.
The College of Education
The College of Education provides training for a wide variety of career choices. Students learn to teach at all levels with degrees in elementary education, special education, teaching/coaching, and in the various subject-area concentrations at the secondary education levels. Students can also train to be counselors and musicians, to work in industrial settings, or in Allied Health professions and so much more!
The College of Engineering
The Bagley College of Engineering is one of approximately 40 named engineering colleges in the nation and has been at the forefront of education and research for over 100 years. The College offers degree programs in 8 different engineering departments and 11 certificate programs. The Cybersecurity degree is a Ponemon Institute Top 3 nationally recognized program, and the MSU Space Cowboys rocket team recently won second place in a national NASA-sponsored competition!
The College of Forest Resources
The College of Forest Resources provides programs for students interested in careers in natural resources. It offers 14 concentrations and hundreds of career opportunities in forestry, forest products, wildlife, fisheries, aquaculture, and other natural resources. The MSU student chapter of the Society of American Foresters is one of the top 3 chapters in the nation!
The College of Veterinary Medicine
The College of Veterinary Medicine is one of only 28 colleges of veterinary medicine in the United States and combines a unique balance of world-class research in animal and public health, high-quality learning experiences, and cutting edge medical care. Undergraduate students can prepare for the College of Veterinary Medicine through a variety of majors, including Animal & Dairy Science, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Poultry Science, and more, and through a variety of routes, including the Pre-Veterinary Medical Technology program and the Early Entry Program.
Be a Teammate
MSU offers numerous Intramural Leagues in sports ranging from softball and basketball to racquetball and ultimate frisbee. There are also dozens of sports clubs, including rugby, fencing, bass fishing, cricket, and ballroom dancing.
Cheer
Head over to the Left Field Lounge at Dudy Noble Field for a baseball game in the Spring and see why Sports Illustrated named it the #1 place in the US to watch a college game! You can also cheer on the Bulldogs at basketball games, football games, soccer games, tennis matches, volleyball games, cross country races, track and field events, and so much more!
Eat
Grab a bite in the Union where you can find restaurants like Chick-fil-A, Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Starbucks, and Moe's beside the Union or hit the Marketplace at Perry Cafeteria for all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don’t forget about the other dining halls around campus like the Templeton RFoC, Pegasus Dining at the Wise Center, and the new Fresh Food Company dining hall on the south side of campus.

Stop by the State Fountain Bakery for a delectably delicious treat! They serve their famous dog bone sugar cookies alongside a wide variety of cakes, pies, cookies, donuts, breads, and MSU ice cream milkshakes. Or you can drop by the MSU Cheese Store for a yummy cheese treat, muscadine juice, or your favorite flavor of MSU Ice Cream!
Hit the Books
MSU offers a variety of study spaces and services to make hitting the books more productive. The library and many academic buildings offer group study rooms and individual study spaces. Services such as The Writing Center and The Math Domain provide free tutoring and guidance to help you succeed.

With over 300 Student Organizations, you can find a place where you will fit in and thrive. These organizations can help you make friends, develop your passions, and live your college experience to the max.
Listen Up
Influential guest speakers are the norm on campus. Listen up as prominent individuals like Dan Rather share their wisdom; the ice cream aficionados, Ben and Jerry share their success; and influencers like Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes share their passion. You never know who will show up on campus.

On-campus housing puts you in the middle of the action! Residence halls are their own small community. They offer numerous opportunities to meet new friends and get involved while living just minutes away from your classes, great places to eat, athletic events, and hundreds of on-campus activities.
Rock Out
Check out your favorite band playing at a Music Maker Concert, getting a standing ovation at the Riley Center on the Meridian campus, jamming in the Cotton District during Bulldog Bash, or rocking out in the MSU Amphitheatre during the Old Main Music Festival.
Take a Lap
Picturesque Chadwick Lake is surrounded by a one-mile walking track with breath-taking views of sunrise and sunset right on campus. You can take a relaxing stroll, train for your big race, watch your pets take a swim, or catch bass, crappie, and catfish all at Chadwick Lake located right beside the Sanderson Center!

The Sanderson Center provides over 150,000 square feet of recreation areas, including courts, a jogging track, weight rooms, a 500,000-gallon indoor swimming pool, a rock wall, a smoothie shop, and so much more!
