Scholarships Notice

Mississippi State University awards automatic scholarships based on certain academic criteria. Calculate your potential amounts using our scholarship calculator. Opportunities for additional scholarships, such as departmental or private scholarships, are available based on submission of the General Scholarship Application once admitted to the university. Students who are unable to take the ACT or SAT may submit the General Scholarship Application to be reviewed holistically for scholarship consideration.

  • Awarded to 25 students
  • Can be stacked with Academic Excellence and Colvard Future Leader Scholarships
  • Participants will participate in the immersive Luckyday Leadership program (4 year commitment).

Award Criteria

  • First Time entering Freshman
  • Mississippi Resident graduating from Mississippi High School
  • 20-28 ACT Score
  • Minimum overall 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate proven leadership skills, community involvement, grit/resilience
