During my internship, I worked in the Chevron Wells Unit, rotating between office and field assignments. This experience allowed me to see firsthand what it is like to work as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. Applying concepts I learned at Mississippi State University to real-world projects helped bridge gaps in my understanding and gave me a deeper appreciation for the material covered in the classroom. I believe some of the most valuable learning happens through hands-on experience, and this internship provided an environment where that was the primary focus. The knowledge and skills I gained made my classes the following year much clearer and more meaningful. It was, without a doubt, one of the best learning experiences I have ever had.
