Admitted Student Days
Admitted Student Days are a series of half-day events hosted by each of the colleges during the spring semester.
Overview
Admitted Student Days are geared toward incoming freshmen and transfer students who have been admitted to Mississippi State University. These half-day events are designed to give students & parents the opportunity to meet departmental representatives and talk with current students within their intended college. Each event will include college-specific information session and breakout groups. This will be a great time to ask questions - and get answers - about your academic and career goals.
Based on your declared major, you will be able to interact with representitives from your preferred area of study and connect with student ambassadors. If you're not sure which college your major falls under, don't sweat it. We've listed them for you below.

- Casual Clothes
- Comfortable Shoes (the day will be full of walking!)
- Spending money (Barnes & Noble has great MSU gear!)
- Rain wear (just in case!)
- Sweater or jacket (some meeting rooms can be a little chilly)
