All major changes for prospective and newly-admitted students must be submitted through the major change request form which can be found in the student’s application portal using the following steps:

1. Go to apply.msstate.edu
2. Click "Apply Online"
3. Log in as a "Returning User" using the email and password that you used when applying to MSU
4. Click "Undergraduate Freshman/Transfer Application" to open the application
5. Select "Admitted Students"
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find "Major Change"

*Currently enrolled MSU students must contact their academic department to change their major.
