Preview Days are designed to highlight all aspects of student life at Mississippi State University — from academic opportunities to campus involvement. If you're a high school student, find more information below.

Overview

Get a sample of life as a Bulldog at one of our Preview Days! Learn about academic programs, preview residence halls, and get excited about life at State! Registration is $10 per person. Pre-registration is required, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Preview Days are not designed for schools to bring a group of students. If your high school is interested in visiting MSU as a group, please contact our Campus Visit office at (662) 325-0539.

*Interested in joining a Fraternity or Sorority?

Both Fall Preview dates in November will feature an opportunity to join us for a Fraternity & Sorority Life Social. Through the Fall Preview Day registration, you can add this social which is $15 per person and will take place the Sunday night before Preview Day from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy an official university welcome and general program announcements! Also, hear from a host of university administration and admissions staff regarding academic life and unique opportunities for students on the Mississippi State University campus.

Academic Visits

Talk with faculty and staff about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU.

Lunch

Enjoy lunch at one of our campus eateries!

MSU Ice Cream

If you've never had it, you're in for a treat. Take time to enjoy delicious homemade MSU ice cream.

Special Interest Sessions, Panels, and Open Houses

Current MSU students will provide an overview of their experiences covering academics, student involvement, Greek life, service opportunities, pre-health athways, and much more! These interactive sessions are meant to give you the chance to ask questions and learn more about what YOU want to know.

Campus Tour

Our student tour guides will provide a walking tour to popular campus locations and highlight aspects of student life at MSU!

• Casual Clothes
• Comfortable Shoes (The day will be full of walking!)
• Spending money (Barnes & Noble has great MSU gear!)
• Rain wear (just in case!)
• Sweater or jacket (some meeting rooms can be a little chilly)
