I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, but that session is full. What should I do?
Phi Theta Kappa members can sign-up for any available transfer Orientation sessions.
What if a session becomes full and it is the only one that I can attend?
In order to provide each student and parent/guardian the individual attention needed to successfully enter Mississippi State University and due to COVID restrictions, Orientation sessions are capped. Registration for each session has a first-come, first-served policy. However, if there are extenuating circumstances, students can make a written appeal to the Orientation Appeals Committee at email@example.com . The Appeals Committee will review all requests and respond back within five business days.
What do I do if I have a “hold” on my account?
Login to your MyState account and click “Holds” under the “Student Records” section.

What do I do if I forget my application login or password?
To reset your password, click on "Forgot Your Password?" on the log-in screen in your applicant portal here.

If you are having trouble with your NetID or NetPassword (you will receive your NetID after being admitted), then you will have to contact the IT Department at 888-398-6394 or 662-325-0631 or visit here to reset your NetPassword.
