More about Reagan Hendricks

I am a member of MSU's chapter of Society of Women Engineers(SWE), and when I went to SWE's annual conference with the organization, I was recruited by Boston Scientific. My internship was in Minneapolis, MN, and it was so exciting to live in another region of the U.S. and gain valuable industry experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern! I worked in their Urology and Pelvic Health division and was able to utilize what I'd learned in school about the engineering design process to create a mechanized prototype and help streamline the manufacturing process. It was so exciting to see concepts I'd learned in the classroom applied to the real world, and it was rewarding to know that the work I did will help millions of patients worldwide! I am so grateful that the Bagley College of Engineering sponsored my trip to the SWE conference and opened the door to interviews with influential companies in the medical device industry. I cannot wait to see where the future takes me, and I know that I have a solid foundation from Boston Scientific and Mississippi State!
