Hey, future Bulldogs! My name is Phillip Moss, and I am from Birmingham, AL. The Mississippi State campus is simply beautiful; you have to come see the state-of-the-art facilities mixed with historic buildings to understand its Southern Charm and come experience that family feeling that everyone talks about. I love Fall days at the State Fountain Bakery where I can grab a Starbucks coffee and a hot-out-of-the-oven pastry and just catch up with friends. Need to catch up on your admissions questions? Give me a ring.

What are your top three favorite things about MSU?

1. The size of campus - lots of opportunities, but you can find your place. 2. The family atmosphere 3. The approachable and helpful professors

What is your favorite place on campus?

The State Fountain Bakery - It's a great place to hang out or study between classes.

What advice do you have for future students?

Visit campus on a typical day - A football Saturday might not be an accurate reflection of your college experience. Visit on a normal weekday to see if it is a good fit.

What was your favorite student organization at MSU?

I enjoyed participating in intramural sports. You do not have to be athletic or even competitive to enjoy intramural sports.

These are a few of my favorite thingsā€¦.

I enjoy reading, learning, cooking on the grill, and spending time with my wife and two children.
