Hey, future Bulldogs! My name is Phillip Moss, and I am a graduate of Mississippi State.  I have worked on college campuses in three different states and have been enrolled as a full-time student at two colleges other than MSU.  I have two high school students of my own so I am learning the parent perspective on a college search. When not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors or cooking outside over a grill.

Get to know me

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the Union. Such a central hub and a great place to visit with other students between classes.

What advice do you have for future students?

I would encourage students to find student organizations and get involved. The classroom learning is great, but those campus organizations can be opportunities for significant growth.

What is your favorite memory from MSU?

Core memory from my freshman year was the first week of classes and seeing upperclassmen greeting each other after being gone for the summer... and looking forward to having that experience as well.

What is your favorite Starkville restaurant?

So many great restaurants... For international students, you will likely find a place that serves food from "home."

Something about you that surprises people:

I studied abroad in graduate school and loved getting to experience different cultures.
